QuickPay & WP e-Commerce Integration
I’m happy to announce the completion of my latest WordPress customization project, an integration of QuickPay.dk’s Internet Payment Gateway system into the WordPress plugin, WP e-Commerce.
I was approached through a contact if I could make a module for WordPress for QuickPay.dk, and several hours later, the project has been completed.
I have added a bit of usability I felt the plugin needed. In case a customer goes to pay, but is returned due to canceling or not being able to complete the purchase, the normal behavior is to empty the cart. I felt that should be optional, and thereby letting the customers go to another payment gateway, or just try again.
The installation is quite simple:
Before installing, please make sure you have WP e-Commerce already installed on your WordPress blog (http://WordPress.org/extend/plugins/wp-e-commerce/)
— Installation —
- Copy the file ‘quickpay.php’ in to the “/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/merchants/” folder.
- Go to WP e-Commerce’s settings page, “Products”->”Settings”.
- Locate the “Payment Options” tab.
- Locate “QuickPay” on the list of payment gateways, click the checkbox and press the “Update”-button to activate it.
- After activating the gateway, you can edit the settings by choosing QuickPay under the pulldown in the right hand side.
You can change the name of the gateway any way you choose in the input field “Display Name”.
IMPORTANT!
To successfully communicate with the QuickPay payment system, you must enter your Merchant ID as well as your MD5 Secret. Both are located in QuickPay’s manager system, https://manager.quickpay.net/
Please remember to verify your settings with a test purchase!
Disclaimer: I was hired specifically to produce this integration, I offer no support for this!

Hi there
I am quite sure I read something about quickpay to work with the Shopperpress theme for WordPress? Do you know anything about it?
Best Dennis
Hej Dennis
Jeg ved ikke om der er en anden maade at lave integrationen mellem QuickPay og Shopperpress, men den integration jeg udviklede vil kun virke sammen med WP E-commerce, beklager. :-/
Hi Dennis
I do not know if there is another method to integrate QuickPay and Shopperpress, the integration I created will only work with WP E-Commerce, sorry. :-/
Hey Lars, great work!
Can you please post screenshots of the whole checkout process?
Also, do you know if there is any way to use Quickpay in Norway? They have a Norwegian site, but I the merchants seems danish and swedish only (except for PayPal, but then it’s easier to just use paypal:)
Thanks.
Hi Lasse
I might post screenshots of a future version of the merchant integration.
The interface on the payment screen can be in several languages, english, german, danish, french, italian, dutch, polish, swedish and yes, Norwegian also
