SEO Booster Lite 1.8.2 Released

SEO Booster Lite 1.8.2 has just been released, http://WordPress.org/extend/plugins/seo-booster-lite/

This version adds two very important fixes:

1.8.2

  • Fix for deleted posts
  • Fix for not boosting same post several times

The first fix is for when a post is deleted, SEO Booster Lite could still (in a specific situation) continue to boost that post.

The second fix was reported by a user a while back, which was the problem of the plugin trying to boost the same post, but with different keywords/phrases. This occured in a very specific situation, however it is still a recommened upgrade.

Remember to check out SEO Booster PRO, it adds a LOT more features, and it has no back link to cleverwp.com. All licenses are for as many blogs as you want, and includes LIFETIME upgrades!

  1. when you say boost – what do you exactly mean and how is it done ? I am keen on the SEO booster. thank you

    • Hi April

Thank you for visiting and for your comment.

SEO Booster Lite (and PRO) “boosts” by checking what kind of incoming search engine traffic you have for every post on your blog. It then calculates which can be “boosted” by adding a sitewide link on your blog with the most appropriate anchor text (the ones your visitors used to find your blog in the first place). This is where the widget comes in, which you have to activate in your theme.

The PRO version does a little bit more. It researches the search engines and find your EXACT position for the keywords/phrases, and use that information to boost in more detail. The PRO version also has the option to add the most popular keywords to your title-tag, and it has a really cool php function you can add to the blog posts, that lists your most popular incoming search terms on each of your blog posts.

The cool thing about both of these plugins, is that they are completely dynamic and self-running. You can add keywords/phrases to an ignore list if you do not like to boost some of the keywords, but that is only in the PRO version. Also, the lite version comes with a backlink to myWordPress.com, the PRO version does not.

I hope this answers your question, please let me know if you have any further.
